Psycho-Geos
in New York
August16,
2003
/Mike Liebhold
This must have been
fun. psycho-geos may be close kin to
cartos, geowankers, locatives and gpsters.
Glowlab, a multimedia
arts lab for experimental psychogeography
staged the Psy-Geo-Conflux
2003
in and around New
York last May. "Part festival and part conference, it brought together
visual and sound artists, writers and urban adventurers to explore the
physical and psychological landscape of the city." The psy-geo
message board
looks interesting too.
